After I decided that I would do this “100 Happy Customers” project, I read a lot of books about starting a business, strategies to grow your business and every book I read underlined one important point – Keep your customers happy.
“A happy customer makes a loyal customer.”
“One customer well taken care of could be more valuable than $10000 worth of advertising. “
“A satisfied customer is the best business strategy of all”
These were some of the quotes that stuck with me and made me realise I’m on the right track. My project was aligned with the best business strategy; of course, if executed right everything would go my way.
So let me get started and explain to you about how it works:
Step 1: I send a request to any Facebook friend of mine to participate in this project or if anyone is interested, they can leave me a message or just call me to be a part of “100 Happy Customers.”
Step 2: I meet my customer and ask them a list of questions, ask them to describe their style, what they love and what they hate. Basically, try to understand their style and personality so I could incorporate it in the design.
Step 3: Design, create and finish the garment without showing it to the customer.
Step 4: Show the customer the garment and if she/he is happy with the design, then only I get Paid.
This can go extremely well or turn out to be a disaster, either way, I will learn and you guys will get entertained, so it’s a win-win for all.
